SARATOGA, NY (NEWS10) – 28-year-old Robert Buckley was arrested for his involvement in a home invasion of a house in the Town of Charlton of Saratoga County.
Buckley of Schenectady was charged with Burglary in the 2nd, a class c felony, Grand Larceny in the 4th, a class E felony, and Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd, a class A misdemeanor.
Buckley, along with two other people, forced their way into the home after the homeowner answered the door. The subjects then forced the resident to sit on a chair with a sweater over her head while they looked around the residence for money and jewelry.
A sum of money was taken from the house and the resident was not injured during the burglary.
The two others involved are currently in the Schenectady County Jail on unrelated charges and will be arraigned on the Charlton charges upon their release.
State Police and Schenectady Police assisted in the investigation.
Buckley was arraigned in the Town of Charlton Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail without bail.
The investigation is ongoing and it does not appear to be a random act.
