No PFOA detected in Hoosick Falls Central Schools water

HOOSICK FALLS, NY (NEWS10) – The Hoosick Falls Central School District had new test results today that show the water on their campus has no detectable amount of PFOA and it remains safe.

The school district is working with the DEC to discover how widespread the PFOA contamination has been in the Hoosick Falls community.

The HFCSD bus garage water tested positive for PFOA, with tests indicating the level at 412 ppt.

The bus garage is 1.2 miles from the main campus of Hoosick Falls Central School District.
