SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – This weekend, while the Union Men’s Hockey team plays back to back home games, they are hoping fans will do a little more than just come out to watch.

The team is asking everyone to once again bring a new children’s book to donate to ‘Project Cameron’s Story.’ It’s a local non-profit organization collecting books for neonatal intensive care units across New York. It’s named in honor of Cameron Quartiers who died after being born prematurely.

His family started the drive so they can be read to other babies in the NICU and to date they’ve raised more than 15,000 books.
