Capital Region turns red for ‘National Go Red for Women Day’

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Capital Region will start “glowing” red for women on Thursday night, one day before National Go Red for Women Day.

Thirty buildings have committed to glowing red, raising awareness of heart disease in women. Red paper lanterns will be lit and released at CDPHP located on Patroon Creek Boulevard in Albany.

On Friday hundreds of Capital Region workers and those living locally will be wearing red and donating $5 to the American Heart Association.
