“Bots take Burgh” robotics competition in Lansingburgh

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Middle and high school students from across the capitol region are competing in today’s “Bots take Burgh” Vex robotics competition.

These students have been working since early Saturday morning prepping for the competition.

Many students from different parts of the capital region there is about 40 teams consisting of high schoolers and middle schoolers.

Each team has identified themselves with a different color t-shirt.

Many of the students here say this is not their first robotic competition.

The competition consists of scoring colored balls in high and low goals.

At the end, the winning teams who have the highest scores will compete with people from around the world.

Elimination rounds begin in the afternoon and towards the evening is when we will find out who the winning teams are with lots of awards being given out.
