Pair of Troy Walmart employees accused of stealing four iPads

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – New York State Police in Brunswick say they arrested two Walmart employees accused of stealing four iPad’s from the store.

Officials say 38-year-old Antoine Harris and 34-year-old David Caba, both from Troy were arrested for Felony of Grand Larceny in the fourth degree.

Troopers say they were contacted by Wal-Mart Asset Protection after they discovered four iPad Airs were missing from the Brunswick Wal-Mart.

After reviewing security surveillance, Harris and Caba were observed removing the electronic items from the store while they were working. The electronics’ are valued over $1,000 and haven’t been recovered.

Officials say Harris and Caba were arraigned in the Brunswick Town and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail on bail.

Harris’s bail was set at $10,000 cash or bond and Caba’s bail was set at $3,000 cash or bond.

The pair has a Preliminary Hearing in Brunswick Town Court scheduled for a later date.
