PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) – A Pittsfield man has been arrested in connection to six armed robberies in the city.
George Bliss, 30, was arrested on two outstanding arrest warrants Tuesday.
Following the arrest of 35-year-old Heidi Bliss on Sunday, an investigation identified George Bliss as a suspect in the armed robbery of the Cumberland Farms located at 885 Dalton Ave.
According to police, George agreed to a recorded interview while under arrest. He subsequently admitted to his involvement in the Cumberland Farms robbery as well as five previous armed robberies.
He has been charged with six counts of Armed Robbery While Masked.
On the basis of his statement, George has been connected to the following incidents:

- Dawes Avenue Variety, 01/07/16
- Peaslee’s, Wilson Street, 01/09/16
- Subway, Tyler Street, 01/23/16
- Angelina’s, Elm Street, 01/23/16
- Cumberland Farms, Dalton Avenue, 01/24/16
George is being held at Pittsfield Police Headquarters on $100,000 bail. He will be arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court on Wednesday.
These cases as well as other recent reported robberies remain under active investigation.
