EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The water emergency has been lifted for the town of East Greenbush and the city of Rensselaer.
After a major water main broke in Troy, the town of East Greenbush and the city of Rensselaer both declared water emergencies.
Residents were asked to restrict their indoor water usage as much as possible, and they were not to use water outdoors at all. A boil water advisory was not issued for the two municipalities.
Now that the emergency has been lifted, residents can resume normal water usage.
