Clean-up kits provided to people affected by Troy water main break

LANSINGBURGH, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Red Cross provided clean-up kits to those affected by the water main break in Lansingburgh.

The Red Cross was at the Lansingburgh Fire House Monday night to distribute clean-up kits and other supplies. Items offered included mops, gloves, garbage bags and cleaning products to those in need.

On Sunday morning, a 100-year-old pipe burst, and water spilled into the streets of Lansingburgh. It went rushing down 124th Street and pooled in front of the Price Chopper Plaza on 2nd Avenue.

The flooding was up to two feet deep in some places and affected about a dozen homes and businesses
