ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — If you are heading out to an adult party Thursday night  and choose to drink, do not get behind the wheel, it is against the law and definitely not safe.

Instead, let someone else do the driving for you.

There are plenty of ways for you and your loved ones to make it a safe, fun evening.

Several agencies are offering free rides tonight.

Area sheriff’s departments are teaming up with the law firm Martin, Harding and Mazzotti to offer free cab rides.

To request a ride home just call 1-800-LAW-1010 between the hours of 10pm Thursday night and until 2am Friday morning.

Just let the operator know where you are and a cab will show up, free no questions asked.

The CDTA will also offer free bus service from 8 pm Thursday night to 1 am in the morning.

Stewart’s Shops at all locations will also be giving away free coffee from six this evening until closing time.
