SARATOGA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — This is the 20th anniversary of the family friendly celebration known as the First Night of Saratoga.
Every year, the event brings in over 10,000 visitors. There are more than 20 venues where you can catch over 70 acts.
Buttons are $15 dollars to get full access to the celebration. With every adult button bought, you can get free admission for children 12 and under.
The performers range from incredible local musicians to jugglers to spiritual mediums.
The venues are up and down Broadway, with the celebration stretching up to Empire State College and then to Lake Avenue where there are events geared towards children. Most of those acts are local.
Coming up throughout the morning, we will take a look at some of the performers you can catch at First Night of Saratoga.
We will also spotlight the reggae, rhythm and blues performers you can catch here at the Hilton tonight—for a sneak peak, I’ve posted links to their music on my Facebook and Twitter.
