Schenectady PD investigate Key Bank robbery

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Schenectady Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place at Key Bank on Wednesday.

The robbery occurred just before 9:10 a.m. Wednesday at the Key Bank on Eastern Parkway.

Police said a female suspect entered the bank, passed a note to the teller and demanded money. The teller complied, and the suspect fled on foot toward Union Street with an undetermined amount of money.

No weapons were displayed or implied and there were no reported injuries.

The suspect is described as a heavyset, black female wearing an Army field jacket.
