ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) –A former Albany county legislator has been found guilty on forgery charges.
Brian Scavo now faces two and a third to seven years in state prison when sentenced in February.
Brian Scavo was convicted by a jury to trying to use two forged checks at Bethlehem bank to get more than $5,000.
Scavo has called himself and the bank victims of fraud.
He served as an Albany county legislator for four years from 2008 to 2012.
