ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Disney characters are taking over the Times Union center to take you on a global celebration.
Bourbon Street has frozen over! Mardi gras is one stop on this production of Disney on ice.
Mickey, Minnie and pals travel the world, making stops for celebrations and holidays.
Scott Troybridge plays the Mad Hatter along with Alice they enjoy a very merry “unbirthday.”
Troybridge says “We have a Halloween segment, Valentine’s Day, we travel around the world and we go to different countries and different holidays.”
Next stop Japan for the Cherry Blossom festival.
Disney on Ice presents let’s celebrate is a party meant to inspire families to rejoice year round.
Summer is even celebrated in Hawaii with a luau.
Tinker Bell, played by Stacie Hopper takes us for a spin.
“I love seeing the kids getting so excited to see their favorite
characters and all of the different parts of it, it’s just so awesome,” says Hopper.
More than 50 classic and contemporary Disney characters take families on this global journey.
Let’s celebrate runs through Sunday at the Times Union Center.
