TROY, N.Y. (AP) – Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is making two stops in upstate New York that highlight holiday season volunteerism.
Gillibrand plans to volunteer Friday at the Family Resource Center in Troy to help make holiday cards with children. The cards are for service members stationed at Fort Drum and elsewhere.
She also will make a stop Friday in Binghamton to prepare boxed meals at the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse. The warehouse helps distribute more than 130,000 pounds of food each month.
