Albany Police searching for clues in Thursday shootings

ALBANY, NY (NEWS 10) – Police are investigating two shootings that occurred Thursday in the city.

The first happened around 4:15 p.m., police say a man showed up at Albany Medical with a gunshot wound to the hand.

The man said he was shot near First and Judson Streets.

About an hour and a half later shots rang out on Elk Street near Quail and Sherman.

Police say a 29-year-old man was shot in the leg and was taken to Albany Med with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have no suspects in either of the shootings.
