Amsterdam and Make-A-Wish come together to recover stolen money

AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Friday will be the start of a three day long holiday celebration in Amsterdam, all to help a good cause.

The town will be joining up with local business owner Dave Falso and fundraising for the Make-A-Wish foundation at this year’s holiday celebration.

Falso has set up donation boxes for the organization every year in a park off of Lyons Street in Amsterdam. Last week we told you those boxes were broken into and $300 was stolen.

Now the town is determined to earn that money back. You can help by making a donation at the festivities on Friday night. It all starts on Lyons Street at 5 p.m.
