Toys for Tots train filled with toys

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Toys for Tots train is getting ready to hit the rails.

On Thursday, volunteers and Toys for Tots coordinators spent the morning loading the train with toys. The toys will be delivered to 11 stops across New York State.

The train officially takes off on Saturday.

“Those are some areas that there is no Toys for Tots campaign, so we go ahead and team up with Dunkin’ Donuts and Amtrak to go ahead and distribute these toys,” Toys for Tots local coordinator Gunnery Sgt. Albert Roman said.

On Saturday, the train will stop in Cobleskill and Delanson. On Sunday, it will stop in Saratoga and Whitehall.
