Saratoga Streetwalk to kick off with tree lighting

SARATOGA, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Saratoga Springs Downtown Business Association will be holding the 29th Annual Victorian Streetwalk in downtown Saratoga.

On Thursday night the event will be taking place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Broadway will close from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. from the Route 50 arterial to the Spring Street intersection.

The association will be kicking off the evening with the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony in front of Putnam Market at 6 p.m.

This year’s tree will be lit by Mayor Joanne Yepsen.

There will be over 35 sites with free entertainment including fiddlers, live reindeer, Santa and Mrs.Claus.
