Group of NJ 5th graders accused of attack plot

NEW JERSEY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Officials in New Jersey say five 5th graders were arrested after police say there were planning to “cause damage” at Clifton High School.

The 10 to 11-year-olds have since been released into the custody of their parents. Officials say teachers found a written plan about the attack.

Clifton Police say the students built a device, but it did not have explosive properties.
