SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Schenectady Police Department says they’ve made an arrest in connection with the January 2014 shooting of a taxi driver.
Detectives assigned to the G.I.V.E. project, with the assistance of agents from the ATF, arrested 32-year-old Juan O Parham and charged him with One count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second, and one count of Reckless Endangerment in the First degree. He also faces one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth, a misdemeanor.
Authorities say Parham was taken into custody on November 25 as he was being discharged from the Schenectady County Jail on an unrelated charge. The victim in this incident was advised of the arrest.
Parham was remanded without bail and was returned to the Schenectady County Jail.
