Dozens of recruitment flyers from the Ku Klux Klan were left in a Mobile neighborhood over the weekend.

The flyers were left in plastic bags in front of the homes Rolling Acres subdivision near Knollwood Drive.

The flyers made specific reference to immigration and Syrian refugees, asking people if they wanted ‘these people in your country.’

“Us old folks we have lived here and got along with everybody so I am surprised to see this and I hope it doesn’t bring this neighborhood down,” said Robert Massengale.

A number was also on the bottom of the flyer for people to call and join.

A spokesperson for the KKK says the flyers were left specifically over the thanksgiving weekend.

“The flyers ain’t out to intimidate nobody, it’s a recruiting effort, letting whites know that the Klan is still here, we are not going nowhere. We have been here 150 years and we will be here 150 more years,” said Robert Jones of the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.
