SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) – It may only be December 1, but people in Saratoga are getting excited for New Year’s Eve.
This year is the 20th year for First Night Saratoga. On Tuesday, officials unveiled the poster and offered details on what to expect.
For $15, participants can walk around Saratoga on New Year’s Eve and experience music, dance, comedy, theater, food, and more interactive vendors.
“People said that they wanted something a little more interactive, more than just music, particularly in the mind arts realm, so at Empire State College we have a mind arts venue featuring hypnotists, tarot card readers, palm readers, magicians coming from a little further afield,” First Night Coordinator Alix Jones said. “As well as caricature artists who are performing around town, jugglers, and for the interactive component, dance troupes.”
A 5K run will also take place that evening. First Night buttons are required to attend. They are available all over Saratoga, including Price Chopper and Stewart’s Shops locations or visit saratoga-arts.org.
