PARIS, FRANCE (NEWS10) – Leaders of the world meeting in Paris for a major summit on climate change.

President Obama will join more than 100 other world leaders in Paris this week to talk about efforts to fight global warming, but before the meetings begin, President Obama made his first stop at one of the sights of the Paris terror attacks.

He joined French president Francois Hollande to leave a single flower at the makeshift memorial at the Bataclan Concert Hall.

On Monday President Obama and China’s president will meet to discuss the need to underscore the need for all nations to come together on a strong agreement to combat climate change.

The conference opens Monday night and will run through December 11.
