Vt. driver experiences deathly, but bloodless accident

WESTMINSTER, Vt. (NEWS10) – Vermont State Police say a man survived with just a minor injury to his hand after a reflector post went straight through his windshield.


Police say they responded to a single vehicle crash on Interstate 91 in Westminster just after 6:30 a.m. Monday morning. The driver, 34-year-old Chris Dwyer was traveling south in the left lane when he says another vehicle moved into his.

Dwyer moved off the edge of the road and struck a reflector post, which went through his windshield. He sustained minor injury to his hand and was treated at the scene.

The other vehicle was described as a silver pickup, and it did not stop.  Anyone with further information or who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact State Police.
