Bennington PD seek armed robbery suspect

BENNINGTON, Vt. (NEWS10) – The Bennington Police Department is asking for help identifying an armed robbery suspect.

Police said a male entered Paulin’s Store on Bank Street around 6 p.m. Sunday. Authorities said he showed a weapon, threatened the clerk, and forced her to open the cash register.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken, and he fled the area on foot heading south on Main Street.

The male was described as wearing tan colored cargo pants, a military-style camouflage jacket, dark colored hood and cap and gloves.

The clerk was not injured.
