Police: Pittsfield sub shop robbed at knife point

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) – Police say they are investigating an armed robbery at a local sub shop.

According to police, on Monday evening at approximately 7:25 p.m., employees at Angelina’s sub shop on West Housatonic Street were robbed at knife point. Two suspects were armed with knives and wearing dark masks and dark clothing.

Police say the robbery was violent in nature and thankfully the victims were not injured. The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot. A K9 did track for a short distance.

A reward is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
