SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (NEWS 10) – One man has been charged with criminal mischief after police say he damaged the Centennial Horse on Circular Street.
According to police, 23-year-old Julius Simmons and another man climbed on top of the horse and rocked back and forth causing damage.
Police say they also kicked out the lights that illuminate the statue.
Police tell News 10 that there may be more than $6,000 in damage to the horse.
The second man has not yet been charged.
