ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — This week continuing our super mom, or super parent theme, we are helping parents make sure their children succeed.
Sometimes, however, moms or dads, face setbacks, even failures.
Steve Lobel, the author of “Failing My Way to Success,” is at Stuyvesant Plaza Tuesday morning to discuss how failure can lead to success.
Three decades ago Lobel opened the Cheese Connection, which later became the Food and Catering Market.
Although his endeavor ended in financial disaster, Lobel found a way to turn a negative situation into a positive one.
Lobel is discussing how “failures” can turned into successes and consequently how those lessons can be used to encourage students and children to follow their dreams.
