Albany coming together for south end fire victims

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The south end community is coming together Tuesday evening, to help support seven families who are now without a home after that three alarm fire on South Pearl Street last week.

A total of 15 people were displaced by that fire – even though it burned the building next to where they lived, the water and smoke damage made their homes uninhabitable.

On Tuesday night there will be a community meeting at the Howe Branch of the Albany Public Library at 5:30 p.m., to talk about how to help and accept donations for the families affected.
