ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The United States Marshals Service is offering an award for information in connection to a bank robbery.
Albany police and the U.S. Marshals Service are searching for 24-year-old Raja Johnson in the investigation of a bank robbery that occurred earlier this week on Washington Avenue Extension.
The incident occurred on Monday, November 9 at approximately 3 p.m. at Woodforest Bank. Johnson implied that he had a weapon and demanded money from the teller.
Police say the teller complied and the alleged robber left with an undetermined amount of cash.
According to authorities, Johnson is a 6’5” black male with tattoos on his left arm and both legs. Johnson is estimated to weigh about 180 lbs.
