Vermont prosecutor, police to talk of KKK recruitment fliers

BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) – The Chittenden County prosecutor is going to be talking about the discovery of fliers promoting the Ku Klux Klan in Vermont’s largest city.

Chittenden County State’s Attorney T.J. Donovan and Burlington police officials will be briefing the press on the issue Thursday.

Late last month, a number of KKK fliers were discovered in the Burlington area. Earlier this week, police said they had spoken with the man who distributed the flyers and prosecutors were trying to determine if charges were warranted.

After the fliers were discovered, there were a number of rallies in Burlington by people protesting racism.
