NEW YORK (NEWS 10) – The corruption trial of former New York State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos and his son Adam is set to begin on Monday, November 16.
Dean Skelos is accused of using his position for financial gain and pressuring others to funnel money to his son in exchange for his support on legislation.
Skelos resigned as Majority Leader in May following his arrest. Skelos is retaining his legislative seat as he fights the charges.
The corruption trial of Skelos’ Assembly counter part, Sheldon Silver, is still ongoing.
