Pair arrested after large amount of heroin, crack found in car in Hudson

HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say two people were arrested for allegedly being in possession of heroin, crack, and over $1,000 cash.

According to authorities, on Monday, November 9 at about 12:15 p.m. the Hudson Police Department responded to a citizen’s report of drug dealing near North 3rd and State Street. The Detective’s Unit and a uniform patrol were assigned. Shortly after officers pulled over a black Cadillac sedan being driven by a female, with one male passenger.


sirmarkPolice then arrested the driver, 27-year-old Carmen Sanchez from Raleigh, North Carolina for possessing a small bag of crack cocaine.

The passenger, 35-year-old Sirmark Bugg, from Mt. Vernon was found to possess 50 red glassine envelopes and 30 white glassine envelopes containing heroin, 20 individual knotted bags containing crack cocaine, and $1,396.00 in cash.

Bugga is a parolee who was convicted of drug sales in Hudson in 2008. He was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (B felony-Intent to sell) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree.
