Boil water advisory in effect for the Village of Whitehall

WHITEHALL, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A boil water advisory remains in effect for all users of the Village of Whitehall water system until further notice.

The advisory is in effect due to the construction on the current water main system.

When a boil water advisory is in effect, bottled water should be used for drinking or cooking.

Tap water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least two minutes and then allowed to cool before consuming or using in cooking.
