PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) – The Pittsfield Police Department is seeking a shooting suspect they called “armed and dangerous.”
Around 1:30 a.m. on October 31, a shooting occurred on Lincoln Street in the city of Pittsfield. Following an investigation, police determined the suspect to be 33-year-old Anthony Robertson.
An arrest warrant was obtained for Robertson, and he was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Discharging a Firearm Within 500 feet of a Dwelling, and Carrying a Firearm Without a License.
Robertson was located by police on Wednesday evening. Police said he led officers on a vehicle pursuit before abandoning his vehicle and leading officers on a foot pursuit and evading capture.
Robertson remains at large. He is described as a black male, approximately five feet 11 inches tall and 180 pounds. He has black hair that he wears in dreadlocks and has brown eyes. He is known to use the street name “Dollar,” according to police.
Police said Robertson is considered “armed and dangerous.”
