Mets look to even up the World series at two games a piece

NEW YORK, NY (NEWS10) – After being down 2-0 in the series, the Mets defended their home field with a 9-3 victory Friday Night.

Noah Syndegard was on the mound and he went six innings gave up only three runs and had six strikeouts.

The bats came alive, especially for David Wright who drove in four runs including a two-run home run.

The Mets look to tie up the series at two games a piece Saturday night with young gunner Steven Matz on the mound and the Royals counteract with the wily ole veteran Chris Young taking the hill.
