Police: Schenectady man accused of having Ketamine, marijuana

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say a man was found with marijuana and Ketamine when he was pulled over on I-87.

According to authorities on October 29 just before midnight police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, 21-year-old Andrew Mundweiler of Schenectady was found to be in possession of marijuana, and a small quantity of Ketamine.

Police say Mundweiler was transported and processed at the Albany barracks, where he was charged with Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Class A Misdemeanor and Unlawful Possession Marijuana, Violation.

Mundweiler was released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of Albany Court on a later date.

Ketamine is a Schedule III Controlled Substance and is a used for starting and maintaining anesthesia.
