QUAKERTOWN, Penn. (NEWS10) – As Halloween creeps up, a Pennsylvania store is banning the sale of eggs — to minors.
This weekend, shoppers in Quakertown, Pennsylvania will have to show their ID if they want to buy any eggs. Signs, that cite safety reasons for the ban, are also posted in the market.
The store says they’re hoping the ban will help stop ‘eggings’ around Halloween and on “mischief night” which would be tonight, the night before Halloween.
Some shoppers say the store is going a little overboard. The ban started last Friday and won’t be lifted until the day after Halloween.
