NEW YORK, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has won another endorsement.
New York City Mayor, Bill De Blasio announced he is backing Clinton’s presidential bid. He called Clinton the one candidate who could address income inequality effectively and get the job done.
De Blasio served as Clinton’s campaign manager during her first U.S. senate campaign, but he declined to endorse her earlier this year, and skipped Clinton’s official campaign launch in June.
At the time, De Blasio said he was holding off on an endorsement until Clinton addressed her “larger vision” on income inequality.
