New fire trucks wheeled into Schenectady

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Schenectady Fire Department is adding two more fire engines to its fleet.

Mayor Gary McCarthy made the announcement at 10 a.m. Friday morning at fire station one on Veeder Avenue.

The Sutphen engines will replace existing trucks in an effort to keep up with technology and provide quality emergency response.
