ALBANY, N.Y. – Police say a Broadalbin woman is being accused of driving drunk with her child in the car.
According to officials, on October 25 at approximately 11:16 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, 32-year-old Beth Carson was found to be intoxicated while traveling with a 7-year-old child. The child was turned over to their father.
Police say Carson’s B.A.C. was her blood alcohol content was 0.13%. She also had two prior DWI convictions within the last 10 years. Carson was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Class D Felony, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree, Class E Felony and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Class A Misdemeanor
Carson was arraigned at the city of Albany Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or bond.
