Join community groups for a forum on the Syrian refugee crisis

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Muslim Community of the Capital Region and the Syrian American Council are presenting an educational forum on the Syrian refugee crisis Sunday afternoon.

The event will take place on October 25 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.at the Muslim Community Center, 21 Lansing Road N.

This event will provide an opportunity to hear from local Syrian refugees, learn what humanitarian help the public and government can provide and meet policymakers and members of non-profit agencies.

Syrian pastries and refreshments will be served prior to the program.

The program is free and open to everyone.
