Lawmakers to vote on repeal of Obamacare

NEW YORK, N.Y. (NEWS10) – House lawmakers will vote today on a measure that would essentially gut Obamacare. The bill would repeal large portions of Obamacare, as well as defend Planned Parenthood.

Supporters of the bill would like to see the measure pass congress in order for President Obama to veto it, sparking a political confrontation, but some conservatives, including senators and presidential hopefuls Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, are urging republicans to reject the bill.

They argue the measure doesn’t go far enough to eliminate Obamacare for good.
