Washington Co. man jailed for stealing money from farm stand

WHITE CREEK, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say a Washington County man is being accused of stealing money from a local farm stand.

According to authorities, 21-year-old Brandon Wong of Eagle Bridge stole money from the stand on several different occasions.

They say he was arrested on October 21 and charged with six counts of Burglary in the third degree. The charges stem from numerous thefts of cash from a farm stand in White Creek over the last month. The thefts were caught on a camera that the stand owner had installed.

Wong was arraigned in the Town of White Creek Court and remanded to the Washington County Jail in lieu of bail. He was recently released on bail from the Rensselaer County Jail on unrelated charges.
