QUEENS, N.Y. (NEWS10) – It’s going to cost a pretty penny to catch the New York Mets in the World Series.
The Mets are in their first World Series in 15 years after finishing off a sweep of the Chicago Cubs Wednesday night.
Ticket tracker SeatGeek said many tickets for the three Mets World Series home games are already selling for more than $1,000 each, and resale of some are up to $1,700.
As a result, Mets tickets will be the most expensive in World Series history.
The team hasn’t won a World Series since 1986.
