Albany Police charge 5 with drug, weapons offenses following search

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police have arrested five men after weapons and drugs were uncovered during a search as part of an ongoing investigation.

According to police, they recovered three loaded handguns as well as crack cocaine from a home on the 500 block of Clinton Avenue.

Police arrested and charged:

  • Naftalie Trimino, 20, of Albany, with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon as well as a warrant from New York State Parole.
  • Daquan Jones, 22, of Latham, with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon as well as a warrant from New York State Parole.
  • Jerome Johnson, 22, of Albany, with criminal possession of a weapon.
  • Tyshaun Purvis, 24, of Troy, on a warrant from New York State Parole.
  • Claude Pashaell, 33, of Albany with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

All suspects were remanded to Albany County Jail.
