Poll: Free pet adoption day happening locally on Halloween

GREENE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Columbia-Greene Humane Society is hosting a “Halloween Open House and Free Adoption Day”

On Saturday, October 31 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Columbia-Greene Humane Society and Oldies 93.5, The Cat 98.5 and WRWD will be hosting a free pet adoption day.

SPCA is filled with cats, kittens, and dogs that are in need of good, permanent homes. All pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested and micro-chipped. All adult pet adoptions include a free 24PetWatch microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance to approved homes.

Radio personality Bill Williams will be on hand with the prize wheel and giveaways. There will be free hot dogs, and the shelter’s gift shop will be open. Staff will be in costume, ready to help you choose your new pet.
