MIDDLE FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A deadly hit-and-run that took place in February remains unsolved.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation into the death of 81-year-old Shirley Coon is slowing down. Coon was hit on her way to play Bingo at the Middle Falls Fire Station.
Coon and a friend were trying to cross Route 29 when a vehicle clipped the friend and fatally struck Coon.
Authorities said they have been following leads, but they still haven’t found the driver. Sheriff’s officials said the investigation remains open, and they are still urging the public to provide any information.
