Charges dropped against former paramedic accused in sex assault case

HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Following an investigation, a Greene County man has been cleared of the charges against him that accused him of criminal sexual act.

In October 2015, Alexander Dombrowski was charged with Unlawful Imprisonment and Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree after being accused of trying to force a coworker to give him oral sex.

A Columbia County grand jury declined to indict, however, citing a lack of evidence.

The accusations resulted in Dombrowski being fired from the Greenport Rescue Squad, and he had his license suspended.
